Methodology

Admissions information fails families when it is confident and wrong. This page sets out the rules that keep this record honest.

What each status means

Confirmed: Stated by an official source, with the evidence recorded.
Indicated: An official source has indicated this but not fixed it.
Not Announced: No official source has published this yet. We do not guess.

Status is never carried by colour alone. Every badge shows a word and an icon so the meaning survives colour-blindness, greyscale printing and screen readers.

Confirmed requires evidence

A milestone can only be marked Confirmed when at least one recorded official source states it. This is not a habit — the database refuses to store a confirmed milestone with no evidence attached, and the pages apply the same test again when they render. If evidence were ever removed, the milestone would fall back to Not Announced rather than quietly keep a claim it can no longer support.

No date is inferred from a previous cycle

We keep the previous cycle for reference, and we never use it to predict this one. Registration windows move, sessions are added and removed, and authorities change their calendars. A pattern from last year is not evidence about next year, so you will see Not Announced until a date is actually published.

Sources, and how they are watched

Every exam and institution is tied to the official pages that govern it, each with a review cadence and the date it was last checked. The register is public, so you can see how fresh the underlying reading is instead of taking our word for it.

Scope and limits

This release covers engineering and technology, and design, for entry in 2027 in India.
It is a public reading record. There are no accounts and no way for anyone to write to it from the web.
It is an information service, not an admissions authority. Always confirm details on the official portal before acting on them.
